Terms of Service

Article 1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the conditions and procedures for using the Release Decision Board service (the "Service") provided by ReleaseGate (the "Company"), and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
Article 2. Definitions
- "Service" refers to the release decision support tool provided by the Company.
- "User" refers to any individual or entity that uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- "Account" refers to the unique identification information created by a User to use the Service.
Article 3. Effect and Modification of Terms
- These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise notified to Users.
- The Company may modify these Terms for reasonable causes within the scope permitted by applicable laws.
- When Terms are modified, the Company will notify users at least 7 days before the effective date.
Article 4. Service Provision
The Company provides the following services:
- Release readiness evaluation and confidence score calculation
- Release decision recommendations
- Evaluation history management
- Other services as determined by the Company
Article 5. User Obligations
- Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, usage guidelines, and notices posted on the Service.
- Users must not impersonate or fraudulently use another person's account.
- Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, or otherwise use or provide to third parties any information obtained through the Service without prior consent from the Company.
Article 6. Service Use Restrictions
The Company may restrict Service use in the following cases:
- Violation of these Terms
- Interference with normal Service operation
- Use of the Service for illegal purposes
Article 7. Disclaimer
Important: This Service is a tool to "support" release decision-making, and final decisions must be made under the User's own responsibility. The Company is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages arising from the evaluation results and recommendations provided by the Service.
Article 8. Privacy Protection
The Company strives to protect Users' personal information. Matters regarding the collection, use, and provision of personal information are governed by a separate Privacy Policy.
Article 8-2. Third-Party Services
The Company uses the following third-party services for service provision and quality improvement:
- Google OAuth: User authentication services
- Google Cloud Platform: Cloud infrastructure and data storage services
- Sentry: Error monitoring and service stability improvement tools
- OpenAI / Anthropic: AI-based release evaluation analysis services
- Lemon Squeezy: International payment and subscription management services (planned)
- Toss Payments: Domestic (Korea) payment services (planned)
When using these third-party services, the terms of service and privacy policies of the respective service providers may apply. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information.
Article 8-3. AI Service Usage
This Service uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology to support release decision-making:
- Release-related information entered by users (product name, test cases, risks, etc.) may be transmitted to external AI service providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) for AI analysis.
- Evaluation results and recommendations provided by AI are for reference only, and final decisions must be made under the User's own responsibility.
- The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI analysis results.
Article 8-4. Payments and Refunds
Regarding the use of paid services:
- Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy (international) or Toss Payments (Korea).
- Subscription services are automatically renewed based on the payment date. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, payment will be automatically processed.
- Refunds are subject to applicable laws (E-commerce Act, etc.) and the policies of each payment service provider.
- Users can manage their subscriptions through the service settings or the payment service provider's customer portal.
Article 9. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes between the Company and Users shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in the Republic of Korea.
- Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and customs.
